GMIS provides the students with multiple leaning opportunities beyond the walls of the classroom. We believe that it is vital for the students to enhance their learning by making it more engaging, nurturing their creativity and imagination, and establishing a nature connect. Practical observation and visual learning is always more effective and interesting. That's why we provide them a campus with well-developed biological environment, good landscaped gardens, farms and plantations for enhancing their learning. Students go on regular campus visits and learn about the flora and fauna in the campus. They also learn about the farming and irrigation techniques from the farmers on campus.

The school building has been designed based on highly scientific Vaastu principles. All the five elements of nature namely, Earth, fire, Air, Water and space - the Panchmahabhutas are incorporated in the design. Apart from the core architecture, every wall of the building radiates with knowledge. Essence of Indian art and culture is embedded in the walls to teach the students on the go. Stories preaching values are painted on the walls. Elements of Indian monuments are heritage are displayed as silhouettes on the grills. Bulletin boards are filled with student’s art works, poems, articles and projects to promote peer-to-peer learning

The interactive mode of teaching at GMIS is supported by smart classes. Our secondary classes are completely equipped with smart boards and we are in the process of transforming into a digital school. The digital content is rich with audio-visual aids, stories, quizzes and worksheets which helps students visualize better and retain easily. The content is displayed in a gamified manner which makes education fun and creates a positive learning experience. Digital education, activity based learning and our dedicated teachers collectively provide the best learning experiences for our students.

Field trips are recognized as important moments in learning. It is a shared social experience that provides the opportunity for students to encounter and explore novel things in actual settings. We take our students to various industry/factory visits, hospitals, science fairs, museums and so on to get an exposure to the real world systems and processes. We also take them to places like orphanages, slum visits, old-age homes, etc. so that they become aware about various societal issues, contribute to help them and become future change makers.

Since the goal of education is to impart knowledge to students, they gain knowledge and upgrade their skills by using the new concepts they learn from the educational tours. In addition, educational tours play an important role in educating our young learners in a practical and interesting manner. Students learn how to be responsible and manage everything independently. Educational tours give students the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates and experience new environments. We take our young people to different parts of the country to look closely and absorb themselves in various cultures.
